1. Consultation & Sketches
Client Consultation: Our team at Apackaging works closely with you to fully understand your brand vision, product identity, and market needs. This allows us to design a bottle that perfectly aligns with the story of your fragrance.
Initial Sketches & Mood Boards: Our designers begin by creating sketches and mood boards to explore various bottle shapes, sizes, and unique decorative elements, such as ornate collars or intricate caps. This step sets the creative direction, ensuring a balance between style and practicality.

2. Design & 3D Modeling
Design Refinement: We take your feedback and fine-tune the bottle’s shape, size, and design details to make sure it truly captures your brand’s personality.
3D Rendering: We create realistic 3D models of the bottle so you can see every detail—like the curves, finishes, and proportions—before moving forward.
Client Feedback & Adjustments: We collaborate with you to make any last-minute changes, ensuring the final design is exactly what you envisioned.

3. Prototype Creation
Prototype Development: We turn the 3D design into a real, physical sample so you can see, touch, and test how the final product will look and work.
Testing: We put the prototype through its paces to check how durable it is, how easy it is to use, and how well it fits with other parts.
Client Approval: After testing, we send the prototype to you for a final review, so you can sign off on it before we start full-scale production.

4. Material Selection
Glass or Alternative Materials: We choose high-quality white glass or other materials that fit the look and purpose of your bottle.
Sustainability Considerations: If sustainability is a priority, we can design your bottle to be refillable, helping you meet your eco-friendly goals.
Surface Finishing: We use decorative techniques to create the perfect finish—whether it’s matte, frosted, glossy, or metallic—to make your bottle visually stunning.

5. Mold Creation
Mold Design & Fabrication: Our engineers design and build molds that match the approved design, making sure every bottle stays consistent with your vision. These molds are crafted for production, ensuring every bottle comes out looking and feeling the same.
Material Testing: We test the molds by producing sample bottles. This step checks the material’s strength, texture, and overall look to make sure they meet high-quality standards.

6. Production & Manufacturing
Mass Production: We use glassblowing or injection molding techniques to produce your bottles in bulk, keeping the quality consistent throughout the process.
Quality Control: Every bottle is carefully checked for any flaws, making sure the edges, finishes, and overall structure are perfect.
Decoration & Branding: We add custom touches like engraving, embossing, or printed logos to make sure the bottle perfectly reflects your brand’s unique style.

7.Accessories Production
Custom Caps & Atomizers: We create matching caps, atomizers, and collars that fit perfectly with your perfume bottle, boosting both its usability and design.

Step 1: Create Your Perfume Bottle

Balance Quality and Budget in Choosing Glass
Standard Glass (Soda-Lime Glass)
Standard glass is a budget-friendly and durable option for perfume packaging. It’s clear, customizable, and works well for mass-market or mid-range perfumes. It’s great for all kinds of bottle sizes and decorative finishes.
Fine White Glass (Super Flint Glass)
Fine white glass is all about clarity, purity, and a luxurious look. This high-quality glass makes perfume bottles stand out, especially for intricate designs. With its excellent light transmission and weighty feel, it’s perfect for high-end fragrances.
Crystal Glass
Crystal glass takes things up a notch with its brilliance and clarity. Its high refractive index creates a stunning, prismatic effect, making it a favorite for limited editions or collectible perfumes. The weight and detailed cut designs add a touch of elegance, though it does come at a higher price.
Common Capacities of Perfume Bottles
30ml Bottles
Small bottles (15ml-30ml) are great for travel or for customers who want to try a fragrance before buying a full-size bottle. They’re also perfect for limited-edition releases or niche perfumes.
50ml Bottles
Medium bottles (30ml-50ml) are a popular choice for everyday use. They strike a nice balance between being portable and lasting a while, making them ideal for people who have a go-to scent they use regularly.
100ml Bottles
Large bottles (75ml-100ml) are perfect for fragrance enthusiasts or anyone who uses a particular scent daily. They offer the best value per milliliter and are great for fragrances that are part of a daily routine.

Types of Bottle Necks
Crimp Neck Bottles
Crimped neck bottles have a crimped finish around the neck, which creates a tight seal to keep the fragrance fresh. Common sizes include 13mm, 15mm, and 20mm.
Screw Neck Bottles
Screw neck bottles have a threaded neck that fits a screw-on cap. Common sizes include 13mm, 15mm, and 18mm.
Decorative Finishes for Perfume Bottles
Decorative finishes on perfume bottles can really make them pop and help build your brand identity. When choosing a finish, it’s important to think about material compatibility, durability, environmental impact, and cost to make sure you get the right balance of style and function.

External Spraying
Spray Painting: Adds a protective layer of paint to the bottle’s exterior, with options like matte, satin, or frosted finishes. It gives the bottle a modern, vibrant look that catches the eye on shelves while also making it more durable.

Internal Spraying
Interior Coating: Puts a smooth, tough finish inside the bottle to protect the fragrance. It keeps the scent fresh by preventing chemical reactions, making it perfect for high-end perfumes.

Screen Printing – High Temp
Hot Stamping: Uses heat to bond bold, detailed designs onto the bottle. The result is sharp, long-lasting patterns that don’t fade or wear, ideal for luxury packaging.

Screen Printing – High Temp
Cold Stamping: A budget-friendly option that gives similar results to hot stamping. It’s great for brands that want decorative touches without breaking the bank.

Partial Spraying
Spot Painting: Adds paint to specific parts of the design to create cool contrasts. It’s perfect for brands that want a unique, custom look that stands out.

Sanding
Polishing: Smooths out any rough spots or mold lines, giving the bottle a clean, even surface for further decoration. It also makes the bottle brighter and helps other finishes stick better, giving it a polished, high-end look.

Electroplating
Electroplating: Adds a thin metallic layer to the bottle using an electrochemical process, making it look like polished metal. It’s a durable, modern finish that gives your brand a sleek, industrial-chic vibe.

Hot Stamping
Foil Stamping: Uses heat and pressure to transfer metallic foil onto the bottle, creating a shiny, luxurious finish. It’s perfect for intricate designs that make your product look elegant and premium.

Spray Painting – Ice Flower
Crackle Effect: Creates a frosted, cracked pattern that looks like natural ice. It adds a bold, modern texture that grabs attention and appeals to trendsetting consumers.

Decals
Labeling: Applies pre-printed, customizable graphics directly onto the bottle for clear, detailed branding. It’s a versatile and affordable way to make your product stand out.

Hand/Fire Polishing
Polishing & Glazing: Refines the glass to make it super clear and glossy. It smooths out any imperfections, giving the bottle a flawless, high-quality look that attracts picky customers.

3D Printing
3D Embossing: Adds raised, textured patterns to the bottle, giving it depth and a sculptural feel. It’s a creative way to make your packaging unique and appealing to trend-focused brands.

Quality Tests for Perfume Bottles
At Apackaging, every perfume bottle goes through a series of chemical and physical tests, like leakage tests, alcohol resistance tests, and spray tests. These thorough checks ensure the bottles are durable, compatible with the product, and meet the highest quality standards. We make sure our packaging performs reliably and lives up to industry expectations.

Visual Inspection
Purpose: To make sure the bottles look perfect and catch any surface flaws.
Method: Inspectors look at the bottles under natural or standardized light from about 40–50 cm away, spending 3–5 seconds on each one. They check for things like scratches, air bubbles, nicks, or color issues. Inspectors need to have sharp vision (at least 1.0) and no eye problems to do this job well.
